The Sydney Opera House

The Wonderful Sydney Opera House

Let me start by saying; The Opera house is one of Australia’s most famous sites, a must for all to see! This amazing building was designed by a Danish architect, Jorn Utzon. It was officially opened by the queen in 1973.

Vivid Sydney
If you’re around in July, Sydney’s vivid light show is something you must see.
The Opera House is lit up for all to capture.
Great for people testing out their new camera!

The Sydney Opera house is located adjacent to Circular Quay in Bennelong point.
Just a 10 minute walk from Sydney’s CBD.
Easily accessible by ferry or bus direct to Circular Quay
Alternatively, jump off the train at Wynyard station and walk down to the water (1km away)
Right next to the harbour Bridge on Nowrozs' map! come and see both for free!


Get There!
The shows are a hit, and positioned perfectly on Sydney’s famous waters.
I cannot stress enough, this is one of the best landmarks worldwide!
